HAPPY 10TH BIRTHDAY, RELAY FOR LIFE!
A DECADE OF HOPE, PROGRESS & ANSWERS
The American Cancer Society RELAY FOR LIFE represents the hope that those lost to cancer will never be forgotten, that those who face cancer will be supported, and that one day cancer will be eliminated. This year marks the 10th annual Relay for Life event of the American Cancer Society.
The Relay for Life of Defiance presented by the Defiance Eagles #372 will be held on Friday, June 8 and Saturday, June 9 at
Ayersville
High School
, from 6:00 pm Friday to 6:00 pm Saturday. The 24 hour event will bring together cancer survivors, their family members and friends, as well as family and friends of those who lost their battle with cancer. All who would like to support this fundraiser are encouraged to attend, form a team, become a sponsor of someone who walks in the event, or volunteer in another way. WHAT:
Have your portrait taken and then displayed, along with your name and the number of years you’ve been a cancer survivor, at the Northtowne Mall and the Relay for Life of Defiance to show the community we are winning in the fight against cancer!
WHEN & WHERE:
Portraits will be taken at
Van Ausdale Image Center
220 Clinton St. (across from the Courthouse)
No appointment necessary and no sitting fee.
Portraits will be displayed at
Northtowne Mall in
Defiance
and during Relay for Life on June 8 & 9 at
Ayersville
High School
All portraits will be available for a suggested donation.
